Mythic Realms System Revamp


I initially intended to keep this as a hush update, but to those watching the Twitch streams you may already notice the new revamped systems. 

My original vision was to create a game free of limitations allowing the players' imaginations to soar regardless of the desired genre or ruleset to play by. 

However, the format I used to create the system was incorrect. Using a specifically defined variable system was fine, but didn't take into account just how vast I would have to make everything and would limit the addition of new features you as the players may request. Therefore I have begun reworking everything to a more customizable and freeform format. 

Already I have remade the game editor and the character creator into the new system. Using a table of contents with each main DLC means no matter what context the game is in, the system will know just what to do with it. For example: if you're creating a futuristic game, the system won't be forced to use the terms "enchantments" for enhancing items and weapons, nor spells, but rather custom variables more relevant to the game-world you are building. 

This is just one of the many great features of the new system. As a stress test, I have already tried adding over 200 items to the system's new index format and found the speeds are now instantaneous when loading the items. Previous versions of the system could take upwards of 3 seconds to 2 minutes to load items due to the size of variables found inside each item and its method of searching.
